Forged from construction offcuts, we’ve hand shaped, sanded and waxed this kwila into shape to get it Artefact-ready. We’ve dressed our doorstop up in some offcuts from our local tannery, including an Artefact stamped leather strap fastened with brass screws. The green suede bottom adds extra grip (to ensure this door stop does in fact, stop doors) and prevents scratching so your new doorstop won’t end in you needing a new floor

Meet our OG Artefact: the Shard Candleholder. Who knew one-third of a brick could steal the show? Crafted from salvaged bricks rescued from landfill, each Shard is carefully hand-shaped to perfection. A cup is drilled to hold a New Zealand-made beeswax candlestick, secured with a sturdy steel pricket. The base is finished with our signature olive paint, the Artefact stamp, and rubber feet to protect your surfaces. Thoughtful, sustainable, and seriously good-looking—what more could you ask for?

Our Tile Coaster Set is simplicity at its finest. The tiles’ original front didn’t quite fit the Artefact aesthetic, so we flipped the script (literally). The textured underside, with its snake-skin-like pattern, now takes centre stage, finished in our signature colours. Practical, polished, and ready for whatever the vessel holds.
